Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Ontario is hiring a Sales Porter to support our sales team and ensure a smooth guest experience. You will keep the lot and showroom organized, assist with vehicle movement, and help prepare buyer guides and stock tags.

This full-time on-site role offers hourly pay of $19–$27, with benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and more. Previous experience is preferred, and a valid in-state driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Valid in-state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Previous experience driving a manual transmission strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior as needed, replenishing fluids and replacing batteries when necessary.
• Performs timely inspections ensuring all vehicles have buyer guides, stock tags and are locked and properly secured.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations as needed.
• Maintain appropriate levels of customer service and client retention by resolving customer complaints or concerns immediately and appropriately; assume ownership of the customer’s experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer.

The sales porter is responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and/or lot and assisting the sales team in various tasks. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
