  • Use weekly insights to optimize in-season opportunities and inform future seasons.
  • Analyze sales trends using POS data and historical results to adjust plans.

Job Posting: Sales Planner
Responsibilities
  • Develop seasonal sales, inventory, and receipt plans by Classification that align with assigned account financial targets and productivity metrics
  • Build + maintain a rolling 18-month style-color sales, inventory, receipt and shipment plan for each area of business to support product selection in market
  • Work autonomously with the account executive, replenishment managers, & with the assigned account buyers and planners. Meet weekly/monthly based upon business needs
  • Leverage weekly business insights to understand item level performance to maximize in season opportunities, minimize liability, and inform future seasons
  • Analyze sales trends and adjust based upon historical results & current POS (point of sales) performance
  • Prepare documents for monthly consensus meetings
  • Provide analysis and explanations of all recommended changes to sales, inventory, receipt and ship plans
  • Lead presentation & influence alignment amongst peers within merchandising, sales, & supply planning teams of monthly consensus meeting POS (point of sales) forecast changes and inventory strategies
  • Participate in regular meetings and strategic discussions to provide input on merchandise planning strategies
  • Standard and ad hoc reporting; administrative duties
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in a retail or wholesale environment, including time spent as an analyst or planner
  • Related work experience which may include: Forecasting & Demand Planning
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Demonstrated retail math and business acumen, including sales forecasting and inventory productivity measures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present complex information in a clear and compelling manner
  • Capable of creating alignment among cross‑functional stakeholders by building strong business cases and driving execution
  • Attention to detail and strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Knowledge of PowerBI & Logility RO Planning Applications is a plus
