Responsibilities

  • Build linear media proposals aligned with pricing guidance, planning strategies, and inventory availability.
  • Partner with pricing teams and buying agencies to support negotiations for upfront and scatter buys.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize revenue across linear platforms by adapting plans to market and inventory conditions.
  • Monitor campaign performance against deal guarantees and coordinate schedule adjustments for under/over delivery.
  • Coordinate execution of on-air linear campaigns from pitch to activation.
  • Support P&I and revenue sales management on ad hoc analyses and projects.
  • Work with Commercial Operations to meet log deadlines and ensure timely delivery of on-air elements.
  • Partner with Sales teams and clients to address billing discrepancies and maintain financial accuracy.
  • Cultivate relationships with agencies, present media plans, and maintain ongoing communication.
  • Provide guidance and training to Sales Assistants on planning processes, tools, and practices.

Scripps is looking for a Sales Planner to play a critical role in driving linear revenue by crafting compelling proposals, managing campaign performance, and building powerful partnerships with agencies and sales teams alike.
