Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing in South Holland, IL, seeks an entry-level Sales and Operations Management Trainee to leverage a bachelor’s degree to run a business, solve problems for customers, and learn sales through training and mentoring.

You’ll work with a high-energy team across sales, operations, finance and customer service, with flexible schedules, associate incentives and advancement opportunities at hundreds of locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferred concentration in Business or Marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Internship or related work experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
• Results oriented with strong attention to detail and time management.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to drive Penske vehicles, including a 26' box truck.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• DOT-regulated driver qualification file required; includes MVR, DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records.
• CDL holders will undergo DOT Drug Screening within 30 days and FMCSA Clearinghouse review.
• Willingness to travel within the district as necessary, including training sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions to local and national accounts.
• Manage our large inventory of vehicles, balancing fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Generate new business leads and foster existing customer relationships.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
