Qualifications

Job Title: Sales Operations Specialist Duration: 1 year assignment Schedule: Onsite – 5x40 Location: Houston, TX

This opportunity sits within the energy sector and focuses on sales operations, logistics coordination, contract administration, invoicing, and reporting. The role supports the accurate execution of commercial agreements, monitors material movements across the logistics chain, and helps maintain strong coordination between customers and internal stakeholders. This position offers exposure to supply chain management, trade finance documentation, credit review, and transport and logistics activity in a technically driven environment.

Required Education:

Medium vocational education with 3–5 years of logistics experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Accounting with 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Required Experience:

Experience in logistics, sales operations, supply chain, finance, or commercial support activities. Experience interpreting contractual terms and translating them into accurate operational or transactional activity. Experience supporting invoicing, documentation processing, reporting, and coordination of material movements within a logistics chain. Experience monitoring accounts receivable and payable activities, credit position, and contract status.

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of transportation and logistics terminology, including International Chamber of Commerce Incoterms. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Computer literacy with SAP experience highly recommended. Fluent English, both written and verbal. Strong organisation and attention to detail. Problem-solving ability, delivery focus, and commitment to quality. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while communicating confidently with colleagues and stakeholders. Ability to meet customer needs, use initiative, and apply professional expertise effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Energy industry experience would be a strong advantage.
