Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Sales Operations Manager will report directly to the Global Head of Sales Operations and play a key role in optimizing and enhancing the CRM (Salesforce) and CPQ (Configuration, Price, and Quote) processes as well as other internal commercial processes and procedures. This role will be responsible for developing metrics, dashboards, and reports, while also identifying and implementing process improvements, and establishing best practices to help drive commercial team success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Metrics Development & Reporting:
- Collaborate with the Sales Operations Head to define and build key sales performance metrics.
- Create and maintain monthly dashboards and reports in Salesforce to monitor team and individual performance.
- Analyze trends and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
CRM Management:
- Write detailed business requirements and establish rules of engagement for Salesforce usage.
- Document, train, and maintain best practices in Salesforce to help drive efficient and effective usage.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure the CRM supports business goals and represents the source of truth for all deals and revenue streams.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes within Salesforce.
- Work with Marketing and Sales to help capture and track leads coming from other sources into Salesforce to help drive business opportunities for the commercial team.
Process Development & Documentation:
- Working across the organization to capture and document new business processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop clear and concise process workflows, user guides, and training materials for stakeholders.
- CPQ Support:
- Participate in developing and rolling out the CPQ process within Salesforce, including configuring, pricing, and quoting activities.
- Partner with sales, finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in CPQ operations.
- Help team test new pricing schemes and product launches in new territories.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between global sales, operations, IT, and other departments to ensure effective communication and alignment on Salesforce initiatives.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional projects to implement new Salesforce and other tool features and enhancements
- Coordinate with the Salesforce Administrator to ensure fixes and improvements benefit the commercial team and support the Sales team’s objectives.
Data Integrity & Governance:
- Monitor data accuracy and integrity within Salesforce, helping with regular audits and data cleansing processes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting capabilities, and system functionality.
- Stay up to date on Salesforce updates, releases, and best practices to recommend enhancements with a focus on performance monitoring and reporting

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, sales operations, or a related role.
- Advanced proficiency in Salesforce CRM and CPQ tools; Salesforce certification is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization and report creation.
- Excel expert to model data requirements, new reporting needs, and potential analytical approaches.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven experience in process mapping, requirements gathering, and system implementation.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to manage multiple priorities and pivot when necessary, in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving collaborative initiatives.
- Solid understanding of the sales life cycle and processes, including pipeline management, forecasting, and account planning.

Physical Demands
This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, or feeling, speaking, listening, and high-level cognitive thinking. Also, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
