This role as a Sales Operations Lead (by Channel) is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and optimizing sales operations within the Amazon sales channel. This position ensures the effective execution of sales strategies, process improvements, and data analysis to drive sales performance and achieve revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Channel Specific Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales operations strategies tailored to the specific channel. Collaborate with the Sales Director to ensure alignment and execution with Channel specific goals and objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sales productivity and efficiency within the channel. Ensure consistent application of best practices and standard operating procedures. (e.g. Retailer set up forms, New account set up forms, PRF/SMU forms, UL/Quality forms)
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement. Build sales presentations to assist with the Sales director to help tell our brand and product stories.
  • Technology and Tools Management: Utilize the implementation and optimization of sales technology and automation tools.
  • Team Building: Working within a business pod supported with Sales, Sales operations, customer service and Logistics. Create an atmosphere of visionary thinking by fostering an environment where individuals can see and pursue their career.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, finance, product and other departments to ensure alignment and support for channel specific sales initiatives. Drive effective communication and collaboration across teams to achieve common goals.
  • Partner with Amazon team on case management, including Andon Cord resolution, SIOC/SIPP, identifying breakages and cutting tickets for quick resolution.
  • Own new item setup process including QA testing, PRF/EPR creation, new content requests, compliance, CM model updates, and final detail page publication.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of sales operations or sales management with a focus on a specific sales channel or 2 years of Igloo experience within the sales operations team.
  • Proven track record of driving sales operations excellence and achieving business growth.
  • English language skills: Ability to respond professionally and effectively in both written and oral form.
  • Math skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts in the development of forecasts, budgets, pricing, reporting, etc.
  • Physical Demands essential to the job: Ability to travel (15-20%), work some extended hours. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The starting base pay for this role is between $68,640 and $69,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, location, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
