Sales Merchandiser - Sarasota (Finance)
Coke Florida is seeking a Sales Merchandiser (SM) based in Sarasota. The role involves working from 5:00 am until completion, five days a week, including weekends.
What You Will Do:
Sales Merchandisers are responsible for stocking, replenishing, merchandising, and providing excellent customer service while managing product orders at designated accounts. This is a full-time, primarily day-shift position with a schedule that includes weekends. Candidates should reside in or near the specified areas. As the primary Coke Florida representative in customer accounts, you will stock and order products to meet consumer needs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain product displays and equipment placements per company standards.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels, including shelf and cold equipment, ensuring no stockouts and minimizing trade breaks, damage, and loss.
- Place timely, accurate orders based on the ad calendar and adjust as needed.
- Manage back stock inventory and trade breakage.
- Meet customer service expectations through communication, problem resolution, and follow-up.
- Maintain professional relationships with co-workers, customers, and shoppers.
- Ensure proper inventory levels, assets, and point-of-sale materials, maintaining merchandising standards.
- Assess store product needs, place orders, and conduct surveys.
- Communicate account activities and equipment needs to relevant parties.
- Rotate products and maintain cleanliness of equipment, sales floor, and shelves.
- Transport and maintain point-of-sale advertising.
- Maintain punctual attendance and work overtime as needed.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, laws, and dress code.
- Report unsafe conditions and work according to assigned shifts and schedules.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Personal vehicle for work use, with valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Must be 18 or older and eligible to work in the U.S.
- Ability to operate manual/powered pallet jacks and lift products.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past three years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or higher education preferred.
- 1+ year sales or merchandising experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and planning skills.
- Proficiency in mobile applications and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently for extended periods.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting, carrying, and positioning objects up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds and maneuver transport equipment over 100 yards.
- Perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Work standing up to 10 hours and walking at least 4 hours daily.
- Work in hot/humid environments and use audio headsets for directions.
