Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country in Missoula, MT is seeking a Sales Merchandiser to manage on-route product displays, stock levels, and store relationships. You will ensure shelves are filled, displays are current, and promotions are executed to drive sales.

Responsibilities include timely merchandising, safe handling, and accurate reporting of mileage and activity. The position includes a robust benefits package and mileage reimbursement, with an hourly wage of $22.00.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 years of general work experience preferred.
• Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport product between backroom and display floor.
• Fill, merchandise, and rotate product on displays and shelves according to CCBCHC standards.
• On-time arrival at all customer locations to perform merchandising duties.
• Operate manual and powered handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.)
• Maintain and organize CCBCHC stock as needed.
• Ensure neat appearance of all CCBCHC equipment and product in assigned accounts.
• Maintain clean and organized back-room and manage trade breakage.
• Maintain CCBCHC quality assurance standards at every account.
• Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
• Transport, replace and maintain Point of Sale advertising as appropriate for account.
• Foster relationship with account personnel and provide superior customer service to all accounts serviced.
• Perform required vehicle checks according to CCBCHC standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain professional, team relationships with co-workers and customers.
• Conform with, abide by, and re-enforce all regulations, policies, work procedures, and processes.
• On-time follow through on commitments made to customers and co-workers.
• Accurately track and report mileage in accordance with CCBCHC standards and IRS regulations
• Maintain areas of responsibility in designated accounts by communicating status and concerns to management.
