Job summary

Brown and Caldwell, head-quartered in Walnut Creek, California, seeks a data-driven Business Analyst to translate business needs into data requirements and deliver insights with dashboards.

You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and technical teams, perform data analysis, predictive analytics, and internal management reporting, and mentor junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

We are seeking a data-drivenBusiness Analystwith hands-on experience building impactful dashboards.This role partners with Sales, Marketing, and technical teams to translate business needs into actionable data requirements, delivering insights that support strategic decision-making.Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills are essential. Thisrole performsroutine tasks related to business data analysis, predictive analytics, and internal management reportingtodrivebusiness solutions across functional areas of the business. Work is performed under general supervision with some autonomy.

  • Prior experience in contributing to internal management reporting.
Preferred Experience:
  • Hands-on experience using Power BIor Tableau to build comprehensive dashboards.
  • Experience capturing Sales and/or Marketing analytics and translating into datarequirements.
  • Strong communicationand collaboration experience with non-technical and technical teams.
Education
  • Relevantdegree or equivalent experience isrequired.
Salary Range:

Theanticipatedstarting payrange for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and maybemore or lessdependingupon skills, experience,and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Location A: $71,000 - $96,000
Location B: $78,000 - $106,000
Location C: $85,000 - $115,000
