What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales team while managing key customer accounts
- Prospect and qualify new sales leads, focusing on swine production accounts and regional feed companies
- Collaborate with sales and technical service teams to achieve sales and profit goals
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers and evaluate sales strategies for improvement
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities while maintaining an accurate sales pipeline
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with 5+ years of experience in animal nutrition and specialty additives
- Proven ability to lead a team and consistently meet sales targets
- Experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or Sales Manager in the animal nutrition industry
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel 40-60% of the time
