Your role

As Sales Manager you will be responsible for fostering and maintaining client relationships. You will be part of a new Sales Team in Eastern Europe and report to the Sales Director Eastern Europe.

You will be responsible for all sales and seeking new opportunities and contacts to grow the market. Together with your Sales Director you will be developing and presenting competitive sales strategies and executing key sales initiatives in your responsible region. Executing sales strategies to achieve sales goals and objectives as well as developing and building relationships with various (clinical) decision makers to expand company core customer base and market share, will be a huge part of your sales position.

You will advise and negotiate in conflict situations and assist in organizational effectiveness efforts. Next to that you will be responsible for the sales targets in the designated area, building long-term, profitable customer relationships.

Your tasks:

  • Implementing the business unit strategy in the area, ensuring profitability of the unit.
  • Managing customer contact and frequency of contact within designated area, create a call plan.
  • Adopting Key Account Manager approach to high potential customers and developing specific partnership strategy.
  • Organizing, planning, and executing sales and training seminars in line with sales strategy.
  • Reducing spending and minimizing returns like on scrap products.
  • Analyzing sales data and developing plans to act on market and industry data.
  • Assisting Sales Director as well as the Marketing Specialist as assigned with activities such as launch of new products, analyses of competitive threats and counter strategies, and coordination of sales meetings.
  • Providing leadership with information based on gathered field information to advance decision making.
  • Building and expanding relationships with customers and partnerships with key people in the industry.
  • Supporting translating materials to local language and localization of marketing materials.
  • Supporting running local marketing campaigns.
  • Supporting Customer Service Team and act as First Contact Person for customers locally.

Who are you

  • Bachelor’s degree, or an international equivalent in a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in Sales including advisory experience.
  • Good verbal and written knowledge of English language.
  • Experience in the Medical Devices industry is a must, CPO experience is preferred.
  • Has a good understanding of the financials, products/ services and capability needs of the company.
