What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee sales, marketing, and merchandising of books to indie bookstores within the designated territory

- Attend regional trade shows and author events to represent the employer
- Self-manage territory logistics, including travel, analysis, and sales materials
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of publishing sales experience, including direct selling
- Strong awareness and interest in the publishing industry, including titles and authors
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior direct account management experience
- Proficiency in Edelweiss is a plus
- Ability to engage with various social media platforms related to authors and books
