This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sales Manager - Northern Midwest in the United States.

In this role, you will oversee sales and distribution operations across a defined territory covering Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin, managing a portfolio of established retail accounts. You will partner with retailers to implement promotions, introduce new products, optimize inventory management, and execute pricing strategies. The position emphasizes data-driven decision-making, category management, and business analytics to improve retail performance. You will also develop innovative approaches to grow the business while participating in comprehensive training to strengthen leadership and strategic capabilities. This role combines hands-on sales execution, analytical insight, and professional development in a dynamic, evolving market.

Accountabilities
  • Manage sales and distribution within the assigned territory, including merchandising support as needed.
  • Promote company initiatives to retail partners, including product launches, promotions, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
  • Consult with retail partners on category management and business analytics to enhance performance.
  • Develop strategies to improve business results using data analysis, brand marketing, and strategic planning.
  • Build and maintain systems to track, measure, and report progress on key marketing initiatives and business metrics.
  • Participate in leadership development programs to strengthen managerial and strategic capabilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent meaningful sales experience.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales plans, manage time effectively, and prioritize competing responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to engage business partners effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team and maintain long-term account relationships.

  • Competitive base salary: $70,900 - $103,900 annually, with annual incentive compensation by target.
