Job summary

Brookdale in Minnesota is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the sales process for our communities. You will guide families and older adults from interest to move‑in, while building referral networks with local professionals and volunteers.

You will partner with leadership to develop and execute sales and marketing plans aimed at achieving revenue and occupancy goals, with compensation including base pay plus monthly and quarterly commissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant sales experience; senior living experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of technology and Microsoft Office; proficiency in electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Guide families and older adults through the sales journey from interest to move-in.

Sales Manager Position

As a Sales Manager at Brookdale, you will:

• Guide families and older adults; be the boots on the ground both inside and outside our community, helping older adults navigate the sales journey from interest to move‑in.
• Work with local professionals and volunteers to generate referral leads from medical, financial, legal, religious, and other local businesses.
• Partner with leadership to develop and execute sales and marketing plans to meet or exceed community revenue and occupancy goals.

• Three‑week onboarding and orientation program featuring in‑depth instruction in Brookdale’s unique approach to sales, ongoing coaching with the District Director, monthly continuing education, and customized marketing tools.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education required.

Compensation

Base pay will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. The role is also eligible for monthly and quarterly commission opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits‑eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.
