Company: Hungry Minds

About Hungry Minds

At Hungry Minds, we create high-quality, curiosity-driven books and products that spark wonder and conversation. In the past year alone, we’ve sold over 250,000 copies of The Book, generated $20M+ in revenue, and secured $3.2M in pre-orders. With a new book launch on the horizon and expanding demand, we're on track to double our reach—and we're looking for the right people to help us scale.

Role Overview

We're seeking a Sales Manager with experience in premium, niche, or design-driven consumer products to lead offline sales and B2B partnerships across the U.S. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a creative, high-growth environment and knows how to bring beautiful physical products into the hands of the right partners and retailers.

This is a remote, USA-based position reporting directly to our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and close B2B sales opportunities for The Book and future products
  • Build relationships with high-end retailers, concept stores, museum shops, gifting partners, and distributors
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → pitching → negotiating → account management
  • Drive pre-orders and bulk sales for corporate gifting, hospitality, and design-forward spaces
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align messaging and channel strategy
  • Provide sales forecasts, pipeline tracking, and market feedback to leadership
You’re a Fit If You Have:
  • 4+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management
  • A background in premium/luxury goods, publishing, gifting, or physical product sales
  • Proven track record in closing B2B deals and managing wholesale or distribution accounts
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills
  • Strong organizational habits and a proactive, independent work style
  • Experience working remotely and using CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce)
Bonus If You Have:
  • Existing relationships in retail, concept/lifestyle stores, or corporate gifting networks
  • Experience working with physical books, publishing, or storytelling-driven brands
  • Comfort working with creative and marketing teams to align sales efforts
What We Offer
  • Remote-first team with flexible hours
  • Competitive base salary + performance-based commission
  • A collaborative, mission-driven culture
  • Opportunities to grow with a fast-scaling, global brand
  • The chance to help shape the future of luxury publishing and curiosity-led storytelling
