Location: remote (US)

The Sales Manager - Grocery/Alt Channels will be responsible for supporting our c-store/distributor business. It will partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive business, achieve and exceed sales targets, develop and execute business strategies, ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting, and lead growth initiatives. The position will report to VP of Sales.

Responsibilities
  • Lead sales growth initiatives for JiMMYBAR branded products and private label.
  • Grow grocery store channel business throughout the US.
  • Grow Alternate Channel business - includes foodservice, healthcare, hotels, country clubs, corporate microkitchens.
  • Meet or exceed revenue and sales targets.
  • Develop forecasts, manage budgets, and establish new business.
  • Candidate must have a "hunter" mentality and be willing to chase new leads and new business.
  • Develop target sales goals and strategies based on customer accounts.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in sales, business development or trade/category marketing specifically in the CPG/Food industry.
  • Bachelors degree in business related field.
  • Must have prior channel experience and ability to make contacts on day 1.
  • Must be able to move and excel in fast paced team and environment with a start-up mindset.
  • Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Suites, Forecasting and Order Tracking Softwares.
  • Salary compensatory to experience.
