Sales Manager, Government Business (Location - Delhi)

Position Overview

This role is part of the Government Business Team based in Delhi and will be remote. The main goal is to grow government business profitably in the North Region. You will be part of the Government Sales team-India and North Regional Team, reporting to the Head of Sales, Government Business, India.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work with government institutions across the North Region.
  2. Collaborate with sales, application, and service teams.
  3. Manage existing accounts and upcoming projects.
  4. Enhance performance of current customers and generate new revenue opportunities.
  5. Opportunity for professional growth within Beckman/DANAHER.
Minimum Requirements
  • Science/Engineering graduate or postgraduate, preferably with a management degree.
  • Strong experience with reputed MNCs handling healthcare Cap Ex products.
  • Quick learner, adaptable to Beckman/DBS culture, customer-centric, good interpersonal skills, team player, capable of driving business individually and with peers.
  • Understanding of processes, customer buying journey, stakeholder and key account management in government institutions, with ability to travel extensively (~10 days outstation).
  • Ability to think strategically, track record of profitable growth.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience dealing with institutions like DGAFMS, HLL-HITES, HSCC, NIRMAN BHAVAN, BARODA HOUSE, AIIMS-Delhi, with notable accomplishments.
  • Experience working with top bureaucrats and MDs of State Medical Corporations.
  • Knowledge of central and state government health schemes, funding, and flow.
