We have an immediate need for a Sales Manager to focus on our regional retail accounts for the NE region. Candidates must have a network within the golf industry and/or the retail space selling high-end golf equipment. This is a 100% remote position with travel as needed throughout the territory.

Job Details

We seek a dynamic Sales Manager for our NE region (NY/NJ/CT/MA/PA). Responsibilities include managing and driving sales while providing excellent customer service.

Is your background a match?
  • 3-5+ years of sales experience in golf manufacturing or retail, aiming to move to the brand side
  • Proficient in MS Office / retail management software and quick to learn new systems
  • Must have a network/book of business in the NE region (NY, NJ, CT, PA, VT, NH)
  • Passion for golf and/or sports
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership skills to coach and motivate teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of industry trends and sales best practices
  • Excellent cold calling skills with strong phone etiquette
  • Minimum GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred
What will you be doing?
  • Develop and implement sales strategies in the NE region
  • Build relationships with key personnel in customer accounts
  • Lead, coach, and motivate sales team to meet/exceed targets
  • Stay updated on economic indicators, trends, supply/demand, competitors
  • Support distributors and accounts in generating leads and closing deals
  • Monitor performance metrics and suggest improvements
  • Prepare sales forecasts (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
  • Act as an individual contributor: cold calling, attending events, leveraging networks
  • Maintain high customer service standards to ensure client satisfaction and long-term relationships
