Novanta Corporation in Apex, NC is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the General Industry Sales Team as a selling manager. You will drive both personal and team sales performance to achieve aggressive growth and will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, executing sales strategies, and growing existing accounts through direct customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven field sales leadership experience managing and coaching geographically dispersed sales teams to achieve revenue targets.
• Strong B2B sales and account management background with new business development and key account expansion.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field; MBA a plus.
• Experience with CRM and sales metrics; Salesforce a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the selling manager for the General Industry Sales Team, carrying revenue responsibility in addition to team leadership.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to consistently achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing and growing existing key accounts.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Allocate resources and collaborate crossfunctionally to execute sales strategies and drive business objectives.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) commercialization and achieve NPI sales targets.
• Drive team engagement, performance, and retention.
