We're looking for an innovative Sales Manager to lead our account-based sales program, bringing our revolutionary new technologies for depositions and hearings to attorneys and law firms across the United States and worldwide.

Optima Juris brings a game-changing suite of deposition services to the market. We want someone who can cut to the chase, executing the most effective strategies to reach a tremendous potential market of new clients – specifically litigation attorneys and their law firms.

As a collaborative leader and experienced sales professional, you'll thrive at the intersection of technology and litigation support, working with company leadership, online marketing, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategize and execute the most effective sales plans to reach our target market of litigation attorneys and law firms
  • Have existing relationships with attorney clients. Be ready to bring your accounts into the fold. You will introduce them to incredible new services that will save them time, money, and hassle
  • Know the litigation law market and its attorneys, paralegals, and legal secretaries like the back of your hand. Truly understand their needs and how to engage with them.
  • Develop and nurture new accounts, putting in place the right technology for CRM and outreach to build lasting relationships
  • Think outside of the box: devise and deploy workable strategies, using technology and smarts, to reach the highest volume of potential leads rapidly and in a way that build real, ongoing relationships
  • Leverage AI and emerging technologies to innovate sales and boost results
  • Work with marketing and operations teams to ensure a harmonious and effective path towards client acquisition, client relationship management, and prodigious growth
  • Analyze competitors and determine the smartest ways to aggressively gain market share
  • Define and own the product vision, aligning with long-term organizational goals
  • Drive the product roadmap, balancing customer needs, business impact, and technical feasibility
  • Lead continuous iteration based on stakeholder feedback

Customer-Centric Development

  • Working with marketing, conduct client research and market analysis for insights-driven strategies
  • Define and prioritize requirements based on customer feedback
  • Establish metrics to measure success and guide improvements

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • 1-5 years of sales experience in the legal field – specifically sales to litigation attorneys
  • Sales experience in the court reporting field is a big plus
  • Have existing litigation attorney and law firm relationships and accounts

Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Impeccable communication, presentation, and client relationship skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative and effective sales strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to connect with clients in the legal industry and close sales
  • Strong understanding of AI and legal tech innovations
  • Experience gathering user feedback and market insights
  • Ability to grow and nurture existing client accounts using the latest CRM technologies
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of revenue models and pricing strategies
  • Experience with product management tools and data analytics
