WORK TYPE: Full-time Hybrid - at least 2-3 days per week in the territory.

COMPENSATION: The standard pay range for this role is between $80,000 and $100,000, plus potential performance-based incentives. Salary varies based on education, experience, location, and market factors.

LOCATION DETAILS: Columbia, MD

  • This job operates in a hybrid environment including home, school, community, and events.
  • Must reside in/near Columbia, MD to manage local client relationships and maximize sales.

WORK HOURS: Hours vary; evenings and weekends may be required.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Travel with Sales Pros to develop new accounts and grow current ones, approximately ten or more days per month, plus regional events.

Role Overview: The Sales Manager will lead sales efforts, support team development, and represent Varsity Brands’ core values in all business activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and train sales team, motivate exceeding goals, ensure adherence to policies.
  2. Travel to develop accounts, increase sales, and participate in regional events.
  3. Recruit and develop future Sales Pros.
  4. Meet or exceed sales and margin goals.
  5. Evaluate account performance, assist in planning and sales meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Results-oriented, motivational leader with strong coaching skills.
  • Excellent communication, trust-building, and client focus.
  • High integrity and effective planning skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years sales team management, 3+ years B2B sales experience, recruiting and training experience.

Physical Requirements: Ability to operate in a hybrid environment with sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and driving.
