Job summary

Robbins Recruiting has partnered with a leader in the residential roofing industry to fill a Sales Manager role at their Chattanooga, TN branch. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales leader with a passion for developing themselves and the team, proficient with CRM tools, and comfortable guiding customers through large home purchases.

You will set standards, oversee reps' development, run meetings, and collaborate with marketing to align strategy. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum five years in in-home sales with leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with sales-enablement tech and CRM systems.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain sales standards within the team.

Robbins Recruiting has partnered with a leader in the residential roofing industry looking. They are looking for a motivated Sales Manager at one of their branches in Chattanooga, TN.

Who you are:

Motivated sales leader with a drive to win. You have a passion for developing yourself and the members of your team. You are experienced with and an advocate for the latest sales-enablement technologies. You know what it’s like to stand in front of a customer in their home and guide them through a major purchase decision. You understand a Profit and Loss (P+L) statement and how to most impactfully move the needle in the right direction. You are consistently available to your team when they need you. You love doing ride-a-longs to be where the rubber meets the road. Roofing sales experience a plus, but not required.

Sales Leadership and Strategy

• Set and maintain the standard within the sales team
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of and the long-term development of the sales reps
• Lead standing sales team meetings and conduct effective 1:1 meetings with members of the team
• Continually evolve and improve the sales process to meet the demands of the market
• Partner with other functions (e.g., marketing) to ensure strategic alignment and effective execution of the strategy

Training and Devlopment

• Incorporate trainings into the standing team meetings
• Develop training guides and resources to facilitate continual improvement of the sales team
• Conduct effective new hire training
• Establish and ensure adherence to performance management standards and process, including set KPIs with thresholds and remedial processes

Recruiting

• Establish profile of ideal sales rep
• Lead talent management within the sales organization, including the building and maintenance of the talent pipeline

Operational Excellence

• Ensure sales team is executing against standards (i.e., proper uniforms, punctuality, effectively using the technology provided, etc.)

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least five years in in-home sales, with prior leadership experience strongly preferred.

Physical Qualifications

• Work is performed both in an office environment and in the field while working with reps. Requires the ability to operate office equipment and keyboards. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Minimal out of town travel
