About ADB SAFEGATE: With over 75 years of experience, our Airfield solutions deliver cutting-edge ground lighting, ensuring safe and efficient landings, taxiing, and take-offs.

The Opportunity

The Sales Manager will primarily sell products, services, and solutions to new and existing customers, establishing and maintaining relationships while supporting the Sales Director.

You will make an impact by…
  • Developing and implementing sales plans for airports and transportation departments that exceed revenue, growth, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Building long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Understanding organizational structures and buying influences of assigned accounts; attending training to familiarize with product lines.
  • Performing client presentations and creating sales or service contracts.
  • Responding to proposals, developing forecasts, budgets, and sales plans.
  • Recommending product improvements to lower costs or increase efficiencies.
  • Delivering technical presentations and providing support regarding equipment use, operation, and maintenance.
  • Researching potential customers and suggesting ways to improve market share and pricing.
  • Staying informed about industry trends, attending trade shows, and promoting products.
  • Coordinating RFI/RFPs, quoting, pricing, negotiations, and reporting via CRM.
The Talent We Want to Inspire Has…
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 1-2 years of successful technical sales experience or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of purchase orders and contract terms.
  • Effective communication skills with a broad spectrum of customers.
  • Understanding of the post-acquisition process.
Preferred but Not Required:
  • Background in commercial or industrial lighting.
  • Knowledge of ADB SAFEGATE products and solutions, including customer services.
  • Experience with aviation weather or NOAA.
