Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan is seeking a Sales Manager In Training to develop leadership and drive showroom performance. You will train, schedule shifts, supervise sales associates and coordinate showroom operations to meet goals.

You will coach associates, set monthly sales targets, monitor performance, and collaborate with store management to maximize merchandising and customer experience. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a high volume retail management.
• Professional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new programs.
• Strong mentoring, coaching and development skills.
• Proven track record of sales success in a retail environment desire to succeed within a revenue-driven atmosphere.
• Associates degree or greater preferred.
• Able to work a flexible schedule; including nights, weekends, holidays and special events.

• Effectively communicate with all partnering departments and management.


• Coordinate placement of merchandise on the showroom floor with store management.


• Create a work environment where associates work with the understanding that their own success is largely dependent on the success of the team.


• Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently move about the showroom over an 8-12 hour period to attend to customer needs.
