Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Thales architects solutions at the heart of the defence-security continuum, providing interoperable and secure information and telecommunications systems for defence, security, and civil operators. Job Objectives:

You will develop sales within the critical infrastructures protection, airport security, large events, Crisis Management, and Smart Cities portfolios, contributing to our growth in KSA. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Securing order intake and net margins for opportunities ranging from hundreds of thousands to tens of millions of SAR.
  2. Detecting and developing new opportunities within your domains, including existing customers and new accounts.
  3. Managing the sales process from qualification to proposal, negotiation, and contract signing.
  4. Establishing compelling value propositions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including coordination with Thales global business units, managing relationships with key internal stakeholders, leading project workgroups, and setting up external partnerships.
Additional Responsibilities:

Contribute to defining and implementing business and sales strategies in cooperation with leadership. Support digital transformation initiatives, especially around Thales Security Digital Platform, and meet business targets. Extensive sales experience, a strong business background, and regional experience in security are essential.

Work Experience Requirements:
  • 10 years in sales management within the GCC, preferably in security with digital business acumen, handling complex customers.
  • Experience in selling end-to-end systems and solutions, including industrial partners.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree in Sales or Engineering + sales experience.
Expected Skills and Behaviors:
  • Strong business background in security and experience selling integrated solutions.
  • Deep regional knowledge, especially in Saudi Arabia and GCC.
  • Proven ability to build trust-based relationships with key customers.
  • Experience managing major accounts and partnerships.
  • Track record of selling complex solutions to demanding clients.
  • Strategic growth implementation skills.
  • Excellent communication, transparency, and trust-building skills.
  • Ability to adapt in complex environments, demonstrate rigor, teamwork, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel within KSA and conduct negotiations independently.
Essential Behaviors:
  • Maintain efficient, transparent, and regular reporting to the KSA Sales Director.
  • Ensure adherence to Thales sales processes and ethical standards.
  • Coordinate bid teams for proposals and push digital and innovative offers, especially around Security Digital Platform.
  • Set priorities and propose objectives to management.
Language Skills:
  • English: fluent/bilingual
  • Arabic: fluent
  • French: advantageous due to working in a French company
