Overview
At Cosentino, we are looking for a Sales Manager located in Knoxville, TN who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to increase and reach long and short-term sales plans for stone surfacing products within the territory.
- Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients within the remodeling, home improvement, cabinet makers, builders, and fabrication sectors.
- Serve as the client’s main point of contact, helping them reach their goals and ensuring a continued, positive and profitable relationship.
- Actively identify, pursue, and increase sales and brand loyalty by calling on architects, designers, fabricators, builders, developers, and related contractors while coordinating and collaborating with other members of the Cosentino Sales Team.
- Manage customer relations: ensure marketing materials, provide price quotes, schedule visits, and resolve concerns.
- Increase market share by elevating the number of displays and point-of-purchase materials within the assigned territory.
- Maintain account reports, adherence to sales budgets, and disciplined expense management.
- Assist with corporate account rollout programs and coordinate multi-location roll‑out initiatives.
- Coordinate and promote Cosentino surfacing products with universities and associations and develop relationships with leaders and students in the design industry.
- Represent and promote Cosentino to the community in the commercial construction & building industry.
- Develop, establish, and grow relationships with all builders, architects, designers, fabricators, general contractors, developers, and property managers.
- Manage business development of Cosentino surfacing products with various interior and exterior applications, maintaining market awareness and pursuing profitable opportunities.
- Committed to continual learning of Cosentino products and proper application, specification requirements, fabrication, and installation processes.
- Work with General Manager and Sales Team to execute business strategy for all customer segments.
- Evaluate, negotiate, close, and execute contracts/agreements for materials, installation, and services, and the sales positioning in model homes, design centers, and showrooms.
- Roles and responsibilities may evolve based on business needs; additional duties may be assigned without prior notice or consent.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of sales or field merchandising experience.
- 2+ years of commercial and builder sales experience.
- Stone fabrication or distribution experience.
- Experience with customer database – Salesforce preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; capacity to interact with multiple levels within commercial industry projects.
- Capacity to develop workshops or industry‑related events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
