Wesmar Company, a food safety and sanitation company, is hiring a Sales Manager in the Northwest regions. Remote role based in Seattle or Portland area.

OPPORTUNITY:

As one of the fastest-growing private companies in Washington state, we have an exciting new Sales Manager role. It’s a great opportunity to help Wesmar continue its growth track as you expand and manage our “Cleaning and Sanitation (C&S) Area Manager Sales Team”. Lead and empower your sales team to exceed performance targets, cultivate customer relationships, and drive consistent growth. Align strategy with execution, develop a high performing team, and foster a culture built on integrity, collaboration and customer-centricity. As you support your team in the field throughout the week, you will oversee sales results and consult on customer food sanitation issues. Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales, you will build and develop your sales team to maximize performance and productivity.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Hire, onboard, and develop top-performing sales and service professionals.
  • Foster a team-oriented culture.
  • Coach through regular field observations and structured development plans to elevate individual and team performance.
  • Lead the execution of sales strategies to grow new and existing customer accounts.
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals, new business targets, and margin objectives.
  • Champion a “Customer First” mindset by modeling service excellence, externally and internally.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with key accounts and serve as a resource for technical and strategic support.
  • Drive compliance with ISO 9001 standards, KPSs, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute actively to weekly Sales and Service L10 (EOS) meetings.
  • Contribute to annual and quarterly sales strategy development in collaboration with leadership.

SUCCESS FACTORS:

  • 5-10+ years of sales experience with at least 2 years in a sales manager role.
  • Previous experience in sanitation, hygiene, or cleaning industries is required.
  • Quality Assurance or chemical food plant experience will set you on the right path with technicians and customers.
  • Ability to travel within your territory throughout the week with your sales team members.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to understand client needs and offer tailored sanitation solutions.
  • Customer-centric mentality that supports excellence in service delivery.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team, set goals, and drive results.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Wesmar Company will reward your sales management talents with a competitive compensation plan. First year OTE expected to be $150k-$180k+ (Base & Commissions).
