Job summary

Alcal Specialty Contracting, Inc. in Hawaii is seeking a Roofing Sales Manager to develop market strategy, manage budgets, and drive contract wins across commercial projects.

You will lead sales programs, build contractor relationships, oversee bids, and coordinate with vendors while promoting safety and growth within a respected family-owned business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in commercial construction.
• At least 3 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Valid HI Driver’s License.

ROOFING SALES MANAGER

WAGE SCALE: $90,000-$110,000

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Develop market strategy and determine sales budget.
• Develop programs and procedures to increase sales capacity.
• Determines which complex projects to bid on based on profitability.
• Estimates the cost of jobs and writes up and submits bid proposals.
• Follow up on contracts.
• Interacts with vendor representatives in support of sales activities.
• Coordinates price increase implementation in the event of major cost increases.
• Assists in hiring, training, disciplining and terminating sales/estimator personnel.
• Communicate with clients, responding to phone messages and mail daily.
• Completes monthly bid log, plus periodic sales and contract reports.
• Contributes to annual planning and periodic forecasting.
• Conduct weekly sales meetings and participate in management meetings as required.
• Promotes and supports the company’s safety culture.
• Abiding by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in commercial construction, contracting or similar industry.
• At least 3 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Prior roofing estimating experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with contractors.
• Must be able to generate new project leads.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Valid HI Driver’s License.
