Overview

Sales Manager — Peraton is seeking a Sales Manager supporting our Remotec office located in Clinton, TN. This remote role offers the opportunity to market and demonstrate products outside of our home office. You'll be part of a highly talented, motivated and long-standing team of sales professionals with extensive industry and product knowledge. You will be a key contributor in establishing long-term strategic plans for retaining and growing the business across multiple adjacent markets across the globe. Responsibilities
  • Organize and arrange one-on-one demonstrations of product capabilities of unmanned ground vehicles.
  • Presentation and demonstration of products at various industry trade shows and conferences.
  • Work with the Sales and Customer Support teams to develop marketing campaigns to support the growth and expansion of company products and services.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance the company's image through a variety of customer interactions on a day-to-day basis through verbal and written communications which includes responding to outside requests for literature and general information.
  • Develops concepts and aligns programs with market, product, and brand strategies. Will be responsible for creating and sharing product knowledge with the sales and customer support teams.
  • Develop sales presentations and provide reports based on information collected such as marketing trends, competition, new products, and pricing.
  • Organizes the preparation of presentations using marketing resource materials such as brochures, data, slides, photographs, and reports.
  • Tracks relevant markets and competitive information via industry news and other sources.
  • Work with other departments to develop product requirements, enhancements or upgrades based on customer feedback.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience or high school diploma/equivalent and 6 years' experience in State and Local, Security Solutions or DoD markets.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with a US Passport or ability to obtain
  • Must be available and willing to travel up to 50% annually, both domestically and internationally. Must also be willing to travel potentially multi-week and at short notice. Some travel could require driving long distances.
  • Ability to express yourself confidently, concisely, and accurately through written and oral
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with management and the customer base across targeted markets.
  • Detail/process oriented, can multi-task with the ability to work with minimal supervision, both individually as well as within a team, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with customer database management and building multiple account portfolios.
  • Experience identifying new market requirements and potential barriers to entry, then creating market penetration plans for both adjacent and international markets not currently served.
Preferred qualifications
  • Tactical/SWAT/SERT/EOD and/or adjacent market Sales experience.
  • Familiarity with developing new product requirements as related to market demands, new product launch and developing marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Basic mechanical, electrical and diagnostics experience

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individuals experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
