Job summary

Fairfield Napa Residence Inn by Marriott is seeking a Full Time Sales professional in Fairfield, CA to lead hotel sales efforts. You will develop marketing plans, manage the sales budget with the General Manager, and train hotel staff on sales approaches to grow occupancy and revenue.

The role requires 1+ year of hotel sales experience, knowledge of brand-specific sales tools, and a valid driver’s license. Expect a dynamic team, room for advancement, and a compensation package aligning with

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience in hotel sales or a related sales role.
• Experience with brand-specific sales tools and systems is preferred but not required.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains marketing plans and sales budgets with the General Manager.
• Provides sales training to hotel staff as applicable.
• Analyzes revenue management strategy using tools such as Star Reports and demand analysis.
• Performs cold calling to prospect new clients.
• Organizes, maintains, and tracks sales data.
• Completes requests of General Manager and other management personnel.
• Acts as General Manager in their absence.
• All other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Develops and maintains marketing plan and sales budget with the General Manager
• Provides sales training to staff of hotel as applicable

What We Are Looking For:

• Preferably 1+ year of similar experience in Hotel Sales
• Brand Experience preferred not required.
• Knowledgeable in Brand Specific Sales Tools and Systems
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong Prospecting and Networking Skills
• Education Preferred of Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college, or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
