Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide live sales support to consultants during in-home appointments and close opportunities.
• Lead sales meetings, role-plays, coaching, and appointment reviews to improve performance.
• Participate in training classes and coordinate ride-alongs for new consultants.
• Assign appointments and coordinate with inside sales to ensure coverage.
• Monitor metrics (volume, close rate, revenue per appointment) and drive improvements.
• Re-engage unsold opportunities and coordinate follow-up appointments when needed.
• Maintain adherence to company procedures by reviewing CRM notes, contracts, and docs.
• Build and sustain a strong sales culture with clear expectations and accountability.

Clearwater Shower Bath is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead, coach, and develop our team of in-home Design Consultants. We’re looking for a hands‑on leader who understands consultative selling, can support representatives during active appointments, and knows how to turn a structured sales process into consistent results.

About Clearwater Shower Bath

We are a Florida-based shower and bath remodeling company specializing in walk-in showers, tub-to-shower conversions, and walk-in tubs. Our customers receive customized solutions backed by professional employee installers, licensed plumbing capabilities, and warrantied work.

Our Design Consultants meet with homeowners through appointments generated by our marketing and inside sales teams. They assess the space, understand the homeowner’s goals, present products and design options, and guide the customer through the purchase.

About the Position

You will work alongside company leadership to manage daily outside sales activity, strengthen team performance, and help consultants succeed from initial training through ongoing field development. This role combines daily sales support, coaching, appointment coordination, and performance accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide live sales support: Assist consultants during in‑home appointments through manager turnover calls, objection handling, project review, and closing support.
• Coach and develop the team: Lead sales meetings, role‑play sessions, individual coaching, and appointment reviews to improve presentation skills and execution.
• Support new‑hire training: Participate in training classes, evaluate readiness, coordinate ride‑alongs, and help new consultants transition successfully into the field.
• Manage daily sales coverage: Assign appointments and coordinate with inside sales to support effective scheduling, territory coverage, and consultant availability.
• Drive measurable improvement: Monitor sales volume, close rate, demo rate, and revenue per issued appointment. Identify performance gaps and follow through on corrective coaching.
• Re‑engage unsold opportunities: Support follow‑up and rehash efforts, review customer concerns, and coordinate return appointments when appropriate.
• Maintain process standards: Review appointment results, CRM notes, contracts, and project documentation for accuracy and adherence to company procedures.
• Build a strong sales culture: Set clear expectations, recognize performance, address concerns promptly, and help improve consultant retention.
• Coordinate across departments: Work with inside sales, operations, and upper management to resolve issues and deliver a consistent customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven success in in‑home sales and experience leading or coaching sales representatives.
• Home improvement, bath remodeling, windows, roofing, HVAC, or related industry experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of a structured, one‑call‑close sales process.
• Ability to coach needs discovery, product presentations, objection handling, and closing while maintaining a professional homeowner experience.
• Confidence stepping into live customer conversations and helping representatives work through challenging appointments.
• Ability to use sales reports and CRM systems to identify issues and manage performance.
• Strong organization, communication, and follow‑through.
• Availability to support the team during scheduled sales appointments, including evenings and Saturdays as needed.
