Job description

Our client is a successful, family owned RV dealership group that has spent decades building a trusted name in the markets it serves. The company pairs a strong regional presence and respected product offering with an approachable, customer focused culture rooted in honesty and integrity. Its leadership team remains actively engaged in the business and places a high value on strong relationships, consistent execution, and long term success. The organization is equally committed to continuous improvement and evolution, fostering a coaching oriented environment where employees are supported in developing their capabilities and growing within the business. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a key department within a stable, respected organization that values continuous improvement and supports leaders who can positively influence people, performance, and profitability.

  • Excellent leadership throughout the organization
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead the day to day operations and performance of the sales department while remaining consistently present, visible, and engaged on the sales floor.

  • Coach, train, motivate, and develop sales professionals through regular observation, direct feedback, individual coaching, and structured performance discussions.
  • Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for activity, follow up, customer engagement, CRM usage, closing performance, and overall results.
  • Ensure established sales processes are consistently followed, reinforcing company standards and addressing deviations promptly and constructively.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, individual coaching sessions, performance reviews, and ongoing training to strengthen product knowledge, selling skills, process execution, and professional development.
  • Monitor lead activity, appointment setting, showroom traffic, conversion rates, closing ratios, and sales productivity to ensure every opportunity is managed effectively.
  • Work directly with sales professionals to structure deals, evaluate trades, support negotiations, and maintain an appropriate balance between customer value, gross profit, and closing the sale.
