Job summary

Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) is offering a 10-12 week paid internship for summer 2027 in the Chicago District. Interns will gain exposure to warehouse operations, counter sales, and customer relations while working on special projects like market sales and customer analysis.

The program combines mentoring with on-the-job training and may lead to full-time sales/management roles. Locations include Bensenville, IL and Champaign, IL with hourly pay of $19 in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a 4 year college degree with graduation by June 2028.
• Strong negotiation and sales skills are preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
• Willingness to be assigned to locations based on company needs.

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of the CED business.
• Assist in warehouse operations and office activities.
• Work on special projects such as market sales or customer analysis.
• Communicate effectively in English with team and customers.
