Job summary

Pepsi MidAmerica is seeking a highly motivated Professional Sales Manager to lead our Mount Vernon and surrounding area sales team. The role focuses on developing sales strategies, strengthening customer partnerships, and driving growth while managing personnel and operations.

The ideal candidate brings strong communication, leadership, and a passion for sales and customer service excellence, with a track record in team development and achieving targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of management experience required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred (4+ years of management experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop team members.
• Create and manage employee schedules.
• Evaluate employee attendance, performance, and professional growth.
• Monitor employee training progress and coordinate ongoing development opportunities.
• Foster a positive, performance-driven team environment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Store Managers and customers.
• Ensure all accounts are serviced according to Pepsi MidAmerica standards and policies.
• Identify new business opportunities and convert competitor accounts.
• Develop and maintain customer contact lists and follow-up communications.
• Meet and exceed customer service and sales expectations.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and sales agreements with customers.
• Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and service offerings.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Analyze challenges and provide effective problem-solving solutions.
• Collaborate with departments across the Pepsi MidAmerica organization.
• Represent Pepsi MidAmerica professionally and positively at all times.
