Job Description:

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

The purpose of this role is to lead Facilities Care Segment Business Teams and drive business growth in consultation with stakeholders, developing and executing strategic plans. This role will oversee the Cleaning Workplace & Safety Segment and Architecture Market Segment through respective segment teams to drive growth.

Responsibilities:

Business Plan :

  • Build and implement execution plans for the Cleaning Workplace Safety and Architecture Market Segments.
  • Deliver monthly operating and collection plans with the team.
  • Drive secondary sales plans using SFDC tools.
  • Establish relationships with key accounts and top architects to increase market share.
  • Coordinate execution plans with Sales Teams.

Channel Plan :

  • Develop a segment-focused Channel Plan to ensure coverage and serviceability.
  • Coordinate execution plans through Sales Teams.
  • Formulate mutual business plans with Channel Partners.

Demand Generation :

  • Utilize SFDC for opportunity management.
  • Create DSR plans to foster business development in retail segments.
  • Implement secondary sales plans for retail segments via DSRs.
  • Engage DSRs effectively.
  • Develop reseller engagement strategies with Marketing.

People Management :

  • Lead and coach segment teams to achieve objectives.
  • Build a motivated, high-performance team.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop systematic plans for enhancement.

Primary Metrics :

  • Achieve operating and collection targets.
  • Drive organic local currency growth.
  • Develop and execute channel plans.
  • Measure demand generation activities.
  • Manage and develop team members.
  • Implement channel and DSR engagement plans.
  • Drive product mix as per strategic plans.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting.

Your Skills and Expertise

To succeed in this role, 3M requires (at a minimum):

  • Experience in Key Account Management within Hospitality, Construction, and Architectural sectors, with skills to engage senior leaders.
  • Retail Channel experience to boost secondary sales across reseller markets.
  • Channel management expertise.
  • Proven team management skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications Required:

At least 15-20 years of prior experience as a Sales Leader or NSM, with exposure to both B2B Key Accounts and Channel Sales.

An MBA from a reputable institute.
