Job summary

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is seeking a Sales Leader for the Express at Clackamas Town Center. You will drive store operations, coach associates, and ensure a superior in-store shopping experience for customers across all channels.

Join a brand-focused team where you will lead by example, manage daily store activities, and support product launches and promotions to maximize sales potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of retail experience preferred.
• Proficient with iPad and cash registers.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and non-business hours.
• Able to meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and motivating associates to maximize sales.
• Provide in-the-moment coaching to store staff for efficiency and customer service.
• Partner with Store Management to review associate performance.
• Train associates on store operations, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Execute daily store operations and action plans to optimize results.
• Oversee checkout and merchandise flow including shipments and omni-channel activities.
• Monitor customer service quality and schedule staff effectively.
• Deliver a great in-store customer experience and resolve issues positively.

Responsibilities

The Sales Leader drives operations on the sales floor and in the stockroom, while assisting in training associates and delivering a great in-store shopping experiences for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and motivating associates to maximize sales potential
• Provide in the moment coaching/training to store associates to ensure efficient and effective floor operations, customer service, coverage, stockroom management and execution of standards.
• Partner with Store Management to provide feedback on associate performance.
• Assist in training associates on store operations, product, policy, and procedures.
• Execute action plans that optimize results
• Execute all aspects of daily store operations.
• Ensure appropriate associate coverage to create a great customer experience.
• Oversee and authorize the checkout experience.
• Assist with merchandise flow, such as shipment, replenishment, omni-channel operations, in the store.
• Monitor and analyzes the customer service provided by team members.
• Build an effective schedule with the right associate in the right place at the right time.
• Promote and support an environment focused on delivering great in-store customer experiences.
• Effectively resolves customer service issues to a positive outcome.
• Lead and models our customer experience model.
• Display expert knowledge of product, company policies, promotions, loyalty programs.
• Provide leadership and assistance with product launches, window changes, visual presentation standards, signage placement, etc.
• Other essential functions may occur as directed by your supervisor.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Education: High School or Equivalent
• Years of Experience: 1
• Proficient in use of technology (iPad, registers)
• Meets defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends and non-business hours
• Meets physical requirements

Critical Skills & Attributes

• Previous retail experience preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers and supervisors
• Demonstrated sales accountability
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well with a team.

Actual compensation offered is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, work location, education, relevant skills and experience of the candidate.
