Position Objective

The Sales Lead supports management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, emphasizing our values and guiding principles in all store operations, including customer experience and profitability. We believe our team is the most amazing place to work, learn, and grow!

Functional Responsibilities
Drive for Results
  • Establish and communicate clear expectations; hold team accountable for achieving brand, performance, and behavior standards.
  • Oversee operational activities such as opening/closing duties and merchandise flow.
  • Supervise associates engaged in sales, inventory, cash reconciliation, and customer service; ensure proper store coverage and merchandise presentation.
  • Maintain standards in merchandise handling, loss prevention, and other duties as directed.
  • Motivate sales team to meet sales goals; develop a high-performance culture.
  • Train and coach team members on product knowledge and sales techniques.
Build High Performing Teams
  • Motivate and inspire the team, promoting shared vision and core values.
  • Encourage inclusive and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Communicate effectively to lead positive change.
  • Seek personal development and feedback to enhance leadership skills.
Customer Experience
  • Model and promote MAPS principles, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
  • Utilize sales techniques and product knowledge to enhance customer interactions.
  • Build customer loyalty through clienteling and wardrobe styling.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly.
  • Ensure efficient register operations and adherence to policies.
  • Maintain ongoing customer communication and engagement.
Talent Development
  • Support and follow up on training programs and seminars.
  • Assist in developing store associates; analyze KPI reports and provide coaching.
  • Drive engagement by recognizing outstanding performance.
  • Ensure adherence to employment policies.

Other duties as assigned. Some responsibilities may vary across brands.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to company technology
  • Knowledge of store operations and organizational skills
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
  • Walking/Standing: 67-100% of shift
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.: 1-33% of shift
  • Climbing: 34-66% of shift

The wage range is $16.00 to $20.00, based on qualifications. Part-time associates are eligible for benefits including employee assistance and discounts.
