POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Lead supports management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, emphasizing our values and guiding principles in all store operations, including customer experience and profitability. We love what we do and believe our team is the best place to work, learn, and grow!

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive for Results
  • Establishes and communicates clear expectations, holding team and themselves accountable for achieving brand, performance, and behavior standards.
  • Oversees operational activities such as opening, closing, and merchandise flow.
  • Supervises associates involved in sales, inventory, cash reconciliation, and customer services, ensuring proper floor coverage and merchandising standards.
  • Maintains standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties.
  • Develops a high-performance culture, motivating the team to meet sales and productivity goals, including personal sales.
  • Trains and coaches staff on product knowledge and sales techniques.
Build High Performing Teams
  • Motivates and inspires the team, promoting shared vision and core values.
  • Encourages inclusive problem-solving and effective communication for positive change.
  • Seeks personal development and feedback to enhance leadership skills.
Customer Experience
  • Models and promotes excellent service standards, offering a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Uses sales techniques and product knowledge to assist customers and build loyalty.
  • Addresses customer concerns promptly.
  • Ensures efficient checkout processes and maintains customer communication through various programs.
Talent Development
  • Supports training initiatives and provides follow-up.
  • Assists in developing staff, interpreting performance data, and providing coaching and feedback.
  • Recognizes and rewards outstanding performance and ensures adherence to employment policies.

Other duties as assigned. Some responsibilities may vary across brands.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred.
  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to company technology.
  • Knowledge of store operations and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Constant walking/standing (67-100%).
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33%).
  • Frequent climbing (34-66%).
