Position Objective
The Sales Lead supports management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, emphasizing great customer experience and maximum profitability. We believe our teams are the most amazing place to work, learn, and grow!
Functional Responsibilities
Drive for Results
- Establishes and communicates clear expectations, holding team accountable for achieving brand, performance, and behavior standards.
- Performs operational activities such as opening, closing, and merchandise flow.
- Supervises associates engaged in sales, inventory, cash reconciliation, and customer services. Uses weekly schedules for proper floor coverage and maintains knowledge of current sales and promotions.
- Maintains standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties.
- Develops a high-performance culture, motivating the team to meet sales goals and achieving personal sales targets.
- Trains and coaches team members on product knowledge and sales techniques.
Build High Performing Teams
- Motivates and inspires the team, promoting shared vision and core values.
- Encourages an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem solving.
- Communicates effectively with teams and management to lead positive change.
- Seeks personal development opportunities and feedback to build leadership skills.
Customer Experience
- Models and promotes MAPS principles, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
- Uses sales techniques and product knowledge to assist customers, building a customer following through clienteling.
- Resolves customer concerns promptly.
- Ensures efficient register operation and team communication through customer engagement programs.
Talent
- Supports and follows up on training programs.
- Assists in developing store associates, interpreting KPI reports, and providing coaching and feedback.
- Drives engagement by recognizing and rewarding performance.
- Ensures adherence to employment policies.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred
- Must be 18 or older
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to learn company technology and manage store operations
- Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Constant walking/standing (67-100%) of shift
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33%) of shift
- Frequent climbing (34-66%) of shift
The wage range is $17.20 to $21.50, based on qualifications. Benefits include employee assistance and discount programs.
