Job summary

Steel City in Pittsburgh's Strip District is seeking a Sales Lead to energize the floor, support the team, and ensure every guest enjoys an authentic Steel City experience.

You'll lead shifts, open/close the store, motivate teammates to hit sales goals, and uphold company standards while delivering friendly, local-culture storytelling that represents Pittsburgh pride.

Qualifications

• Relevant retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team during shifts.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members during shifts to meet sales goals.
• Open and close the store as needed.
• Support the Assistant Manager and ensure store processes follow standards.

Steel City tells stories. We are looking for a Sales Lead to help tell the story of our Strip District location who is passionate about retail and ensuring that our team is telling the right story.

The Sales Leader helps keep the energy high and the floor running smoothly. You’ll take charge during shifts, support your team, and ensure every guest has a genuine memorable experience that reflects Steel City Values.

What You’ll Need To Be Able To Do

• Help the Assistant Manager ensure processes are following the company standards
• Lead and motivate team members during shifts to meet sales goals
• Opening and closing the store as needed
• Provide our customers with an authentic and welcoming Steel City experience

You’ll be a great fit for this role if:

• You have prior customer service or retail experience (preferred)
• You’re a confident communicator and team motivator
• You have a passion for local culture, style and representing Pittsburgh pride
• You have flexible availability for part-time hours (20+ hours per week) including weekends and holidays
