$15 - $17.29 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead is the face of our business and ensures the best experience for every patient and customer. This role requires training and knowledge of optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The Sr. OS guides patients/customers through their eyewear journey, ensuring their needs are met simply, humanely, and confidently. A Senior Optical Specialist has at least 12 months of optical industry experience.

The SR. OS maintains license requirements per state guidelines and dispenses eyewear in states where licensed.

  • Achieves daily sales goals by delivering excellent customer/patient experiences
  • Engages with patients/customers and recommends suitable products and services
  • Measures patients/customers for eyewear and maintains product knowledge through ongoing training
  • Supports store operations, including opening and closing, in lead positions
Qualifications:
  • 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
  • HS diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Maintain optician license requirements per state guidelines, as needed
