Job summary

Caleres’ Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Lead who will foster a welcoming environment, coach teammates, and drive sales through strong customer connections. You’ll own store operations, inventory, pricing, and the customer experience while mentoring associates and upholding brand standards.

The role requires a passion for shoes, a team-player mindset, and flexibility to work a varied schedule in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proven knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Some retail management experience or relevant management experience preferred.
• Experience mentoring and training associates on selling and operations.
• Flexibility to work holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspire customers and teammates with a welcoming store culture and curb the Famous Feeling.
• Drive sales and achieve goals with purpose and determination.
• Oversee store operations from pricing to inventory and ensure the store is clean and organized.
• Open and close the store, maintain a great customer experience, and keep products easily shoppable.
• Collaborate with partners and resources to accomplish tasks and coach selling behaviors.
