KnitWell Group is seeking a Sales Lead for Store 3486-Hillsdale Shopping Center-WHBM-San Mateo, CA. You will supervise the team, model excellent service, and support leadership duties to deliver memorable, hospitality-driven experiences on the sales floor.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, coaching, cash handling, scheduling, inventory, and staying current on promotions and store policies. The role emphasizes teamwork and a customer-first mindset.

About the role

As a Sales Lead, you partner closely with store leaders to supervise the team, lead by example, and step in to support leadership responsibilities wherever needed. You play a pivotal role in upholding brand standards and helping shape a positive team culture. You will set the tone for achieving team goals by providing clear direction and support. As a role model for the team, you demonstrate a welcoming, customer-centered environment that goes beyond the transaction to create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.

• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.

What you’ll bring to the role

• Passion for our brand, fashion, and empowering confidence.
• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• A team player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Position Type: Regular/Part time

Pay Range: $19.60 - $24.50 Hourly USD
