At the Georgia Aquarium, our retail store is an extension of the Aquarium’s mission to inspire awareness and preservation of our ocean and aquatic animals worldwide. As a Full-Time Seasonal Sales Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the management team by ensuring smooth daily operations and leading the retail team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Your leadership and commitment to outstanding service will help guests create lasting memories while supporting the Aquarium’s conservation and educational initiatives.

The Role:

As a Sales Lead, you’ll be an integral part of our store’s day-to-day operations, working alongside the management team to create memorable moments for our guests. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on delivering exceptional service in a fun, dynamic retail environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead by example and provide top-notch guest service to ensure every visitor has the best shopping experience possible.
  • Engage with guests in a lively, welcoming, and entertaining manner, turning ordinary shopping trips into exciting adventures.
  • Support store operations, from handling cash to managing inventory, and keep things running smoothly for your fellow team members.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Retail rockstar with prior experience as a keyholder or in a supervisory role.
  • Merchandising maven with a flair for organizing and presenting products that catch guests' attention.
  • A friendly, outgoing personality that naturally draws people in.
  • Comfortable with a flexible schedule – weekends, evenings, and holidays are part of the fun!
  • Someone who loves to interact with guests of all ages and is proactive in showcasing our amazing products.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent standing and walking, plus occasional reaching, climbing, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds regularly.
