Job summary

Journeys is a teen retail leader offering footwear and apparel with over 800 stores. This role supports store management in basic operations, team development, and achieving sales goals, while promoting from within and fostering a fun, energetic environment.

Responsibilities include training a successful sales team, enforcing policies, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. The position requires the ability to work nights and weekends and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to succeed in a retail environment.
• Willingness to learn and participate in training programs leading up to Sales Lead position or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals and standards of performance.
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees by enforcing all company policies and practices.
• Perform opening and closing duties according to company policy.
• Supervise and manage all aspects of daily store operations in store management’s absence.
