White House Black Market, operated by KnitWell Group, is seeking a Sales Lead at The Shops at College Hills in Normal, IL. You will guide the team, uphold brand standards, and create memorable, customer-focused experiences that reflect our hospitality-driven culture.

In this role you will partner with store leadership, coach staff, manage operations, and ensure high performance while maintaining a welcoming environment for customers and peers alike.

Qualifications

• 2 years retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability—nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to bend, reach, and stretch for products; maneuver on sales floor/stockroom; operate the register; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of current sales, promotions, and store policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.
