Job summary

WHBM, operating as White House Black Market, is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and uphold brand standards. You will drive a welcoming, customer-centered experience and support leadership responsibilities as needed on the sales floor.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
  • A team player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
  • Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

About the role

As a Sales Lead, you partner closely with store leaders to supervise the team, lead by example, and step in to support leadership responsibilities wherever needed. You play a pivotal role in upholding brand standards and helping shape a positive team culture. You will set the tone for achieving team goals by providing clear direction and support. As a role model for the team, you demonstrate a welcoming, customer-centered environment that goes beyond the transaction to create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.
