Job Summary

Assist store management with operations, develop associates, and achieve sales goals and performance standards.

Essential Job Functions
  • Meet and exceed sales goals
  • Train and develop sales team
  • Provide feedback, coaching, and enforce policies
  • Perform opening and closing duties
  • Manage daily store operations in management's absence
  • Oversee loss prevention practices
  • Communicate store needs to management
  • Complete bank deposits and other tasks promptly
  • Deliver a fun, full-service customer experience
  • Resolve customer issues effectively
  • Demonstrate the Journeys culture
Job Requirements
  • Prior retail sales experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Desire to succeed in retail
  • Willingness to learn
  • Completion of training programs or equivalent
  • Availability for night and weekend shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Must be at least 18 years old
