Visionworks in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead to be the face of our store, guiding customers from welcome to eyewear selection and purchase.

You will lead the Customer/Patient Experience, achieve daily sales goals, train staff, restock inventory, and keep product knowledge up to date.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required (Visionworks or other) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for eyewear and maintain product knowledge through ongoing training
• Execute day-to-day store activities to support financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment

Pay Class: Full Time

Pay Rate:$12.82 -17.29 per hr

The Role:

A VisionworksSr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Leadis the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear andmaintainproduct/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or otherorganization) orABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
